Cold and windy. Tried the 2.1x42 binoculars for the first time.

Was able to see stars with magnitude in the low 6 (with great effort) or high 5 (with ease) - can't barely get to 4 with the naked eye.

Great for seeing constellations. I was able to easily fully see constellations that are hard with the naked eye:

  • Canes Venatici
  • Coma Berenices
  • Corona Borialis
  • Ursus Minor
  • Crater
I tried but failed to see M3 or M13.
I was able to see Melotte 111 (Coma Star Cluster).
