Finally a cloudless evening

First cloudless evening from my backyard in September !

Not ideal conditions however with the almost full moon, although the moon was behind the neighbor's house during my relatively short observation session (9pm -10:30pm). Had the Telrad setup but it fogged up within minutes.

Observations:

  • M31 (Andromeda Galaxy) slightly "visible" in finder scope, and still quite faint through the Baader zoom. Took a stack.
  • Saturn then Jupiter: took videos (see stacks below) and also observed them through the 3mm. Also tried the 3mm + Barlow, but could not see more details.
