Open Clusters through the clouds

Earlier forecast were very positive so I decided to setup the telescope for some EAA. I was barely done setting up that I noticed some clouds. By the time, I started running ASILive, the sky was all gray with barely a few stars visible with the naked eye. The camera however was still able to discern a good number of stars. So I took pictures of a few open clusters until the plate solving started failing. A super brief session!!

Observations:

  • M41 Little Beehive Cluster - Canis Major
  • M50 Heart Shape Cluster - Monoceros
  • M47 Open Cluster - Puppis
