Bino viewing from home
Took the telescope out for some visual astronomy with the binoviewers. The sky looked washed out and there were lights in neighbor's windows so it was far from great. Observed a good number of DSOs. Most of the galaxies were super faints.
Observations:
- M44 Beehive Cluster - Cancer
- M67 Golden Eye Cluster - Cancer
- M48 Open Cluster - Hydra
- M66 / M65 - Galaxies - Leo (two of the Leo Triplet - could not see NGC 3628 Hamburger Galaxy)
- M81 Bode's Galaxy, M82 Cigar Galaxy - Ursa Major
- M3 Globular Cluster - Canes Venatici
- M53 Globular Cluster - Coma Berenices
- M64 Black Eye Galaxy - Coma Berenices
- M94 Croc's Eye Galaxy - Canes Venatici
- M63 Sunflower Galaxy - Canes Venatici
- M51 Whirlpool Galaxy - Canes Venatici
- M60, M59 Galaxies, and maybe one other - Virgo - tried to make my way up to the Markarian chain - but star hopping is really challenging in that part of the sky (in SF)
